Steve Kerr Does Hilarious Double Take After Spotting His Doppelganger in the Crowd
Even Steve Kerr couldn’t believe his eyes. During the Golden State Warriors’ preseason trip to Las Vegas, the head coach spotted a fan who looks exactly like him — and his stunned double take is going viral.
The video shows Kerr mid-game suddenly locking eyes with the lookalike, staring for several seconds as the resemblance sinks in. The fan is Steve Gillis, a high school English teacher from Las Vegas with silver hair and a similar build.
This isn’t the first time Gillis has broken the internet — he first went viral at a Warriors game in 2024, prompting Kerr to joke at the time: “I just thought he was strikingly handsome.”
As for the game, the Warriors rallied from a 20-point deficit to beat the Lakers 101-89. But the real highlight was the coach meeting his twin.
